About me
Welcome
I'm Lisa Beevers. I am a caring and friendly Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 30 years experience of working in NHS mental health services, with adults and older adults. In addition to my NHS work, I now have a small private practice offering both in-person and online therapy for a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression and issues related to trauma.
I am also experienced in working with people with memory difficulties and dementia and their carers.
My private practice is in Ballycastle, County Antrim.

I studied psychology at Durham University and then continued my studies on the Oxford Regional In Service Training Course, qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist in 1995. I have additional training in a range of therapy approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
I have worked for Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust since 1995.

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and am a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
